The members of the WEST organization have various training skills and have acted as instructors in venues such as long range programs, on-the-job mentoring, and seminar presentations. The WEST training team has presented training in basic organizational principles, facilities management and basic trades practices. Service teams with objectives of carrying out programs in needy communities have been trained in team building, project skills and team management. WEST routinely offers Service Team training to interested not-for-profit and NGO organizations in development of their program objectives. Members have participated in of the Skill and Trade training of national workers, and volunteers in third world and underprivileged locations. One of the example training events is the training of workers in Uganda in team operations and facilities management and repair. |
